Harris Ranch Trail #1347

Area Status: Open

The Drift Creek Wilderness (5,798 acres) is one of three wilderness areas established on the Siuslaw National Forest and the largest on the Coast Range. There are two main trails, the Horse Creek Trail and the Harris Ranch Trail. Stock use prohibited due to fragile soil conditions. The Harris Ranch trail travels down to an old homestead meadow then continues to Drift Creek.

Current Conditions: 2/3/25: Trail is open. First 1.5 miles of trail has been maintained. Several logs down and brushy, but trail is passible. Please practice leave no trace - pack out what you pack in. No bikes or motorized equipment allowed in Wilderness.
