This trail takes you on a journey through a temperate rainforest, winding through stands of majestic old growth trees along the North Fork Smith River.

Current Conditions: | 8/16/2022: Trail has been cleared for three miles from NF Smith Trailhead to 2nd Large bridge. Trail is challenging with large trees down and a couple of land-slides impacting the trail between Lower Kentucky Falls and the 3.5 mile mark from NF Smith TH. *Caution: NF Smith River trails is in a remote setting with steep sections and uneven surface. Plan ahead and use caution by carrying extra water, food and warm clothing & Map and compass. |
