The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area Visitor Center offers interpretive exhibits, maps, brochures, books and gifts, and a friendly and helpful staff that can help you make the most of your visit to the Oregon Dunes. The visitor center sells recreation passes and special forest product permits such as mushrooms and firewood.

Field Ranger Programs: Starting June 7, 2017 ranger-led programs will be available most days at the Oregon Dunes Day Use Area and Cape Perpetua Visitor Center. Guided hikes are available every Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. Beginning June 16, Jr. Ranger evening programs will be held each Friday and Saturday at different locations throughout the Oregon Dunes from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Programs will continue through August.
