A short trail around Hall and Shuttpelz Lakes provides lake and dune access. Trailhead has limited parking and is not suitable for RVs.
This area provides the easiest beach access in the Oregon Dunes for beach walking and ocean viewing.
One of the longest trails across the sand dunes begins at the John Dellenback trailhead. The trail is marked only by posts in the sand and runs up and over some very large, sculpted dunes. The trail ends at the beach.
