This trail leads to a small, shallow lake that is mild for swimming. There are views from the west end. The trail has a lot of ups and downs. Hikers can continue on to Bull Run Lake and the Stanislaus Meadow Trailhead on Highway 4.
The trail begins at the Mosquito Lakes Trailhead on Highway 4; the distance to the lake from there is 2.5 miles.
