Current Conditions: Mi Wok Ranger District (HWY 108).  
Operational Hours: Open with no services. NO WATER OR GARBAGE SERVICE. PACK OUT ALL YOU PACK IN! 3 to 6 inches of snow throughout area.  Although roads may be open, roads are not maintained for winter/fall travel with no snow removal/ plowing. Snow, ice, rocks, debris, slides, and washouts may be in travel way. Closes December 15, 2022 weather/ and snow dependent.
Reservations: First come, first serve. No reservations can be made for Sand Bar Flat Campground.
Fees: $12.00 per night for single site, $24 per night for double site.  Interagency Senior and Interagency Access Passes Honored: The Interagency Senior and Access Passes Provide a 50 percent discount on camping fees.  Pass number must be written on fee envelope. The Interagency Annual and Volunteer passes do not provide any discounts on camping.  
Permit Info: If you wish to use a stove, grill, or have a campfire it is recommended, but not required, that you get a campfire permit.  This FREE Permit can be obtained at preventwildfiresca.org or at any ranger station. Do not burn plastic or metal. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it.

Usage: Light-Medium
Restrictions: Max length for RV/Trailers - 35ft.  Road is NOT ADVISABLE for large RVs and trailers. The winding road is steep, narrow and is not paved past Fraser Flat Campground. Camp in designated sites only. The number of people permitted in a single campsite is six. The maximum length of stay in any campground is 14 days.

RV Camping

Forested site on the Middle Fork Stanislaus River. Beautiful fishing spot with accessible fishing bridge. Not advisable for Large R. V. 's or trailers. Road is steep, narrow and windy. Picnic tables, fire rings with grills and vault toilets.

Best Season: May through September

River and Stream Fishing

Middle Fork of the Stanislaus River. Day Use area and campgrounds. Small bridge over river. Special regulations apply per California Department of Fish and Game. See "Restrictions" below.

Hours of Operation: Day use area open 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Picnicking

Day use area is located on the northeast side of the campground near bridge.Two day use sites include tables, drinking water, restrooms and garbage service. Area is open 6 am to 9 pm daily. Not advisible for trailers or motor homes. Road is not paved, steep and narrow.
