Closest Towns: Bear Valley, 1.5 miles west, Lake Alpine, 1.7 miles east; Arnold 26 miles west, Markleeville 34 miles east.
Restroom: Portable toilet outside
Information Center: Forest and area information, hunting, fishing, hiking, and campground information and guidance; wilderness permits, campfire permits, maps, America the Beautiful passes, exhibits, books, and souvenirs.
