Current Conditions: Summit Ranger District (HWY 108) Campground is CLOSED and inaccessible to wheeled-vehicles.
Operational Hours: Campground is scheduled to be open from May through December 15, weather permitting.
Reservations: First come, first serve. No reservations can be made for Pine Valley Horse Camp. 
Fees No fees.  
Permit Info: If you wish to use a stove, grill, or have a campfire you will need a campfire permit. This FREE Permit can be obtained at preventwildfireca.org or at any ranger station.
Open Season: May, weather dependant - December 15, weather depending
Restrictions: Camp in designated sites only. The number of people allowed in a single campsite is six. The maximum length of stay in any campground is 14 days. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it.
Water: No Potable Water
Restroom: Vault
Operated By: Forest Service in partnership with the Backcountry Horseman of California, Mid-Valley Unit
