Area Status: Open
The campground is a single loop through a stand of mature Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir. There are single, double, triple, and quad sites. It is a “multi-group” campground. The quad site has four aprons and is available for four single families if not reserved; two parking aprons have electric and water hookups. Both the double and triple campsites have a single pull-through parking apron and one electric and water hookup each. Pine needle and grass understory and no middlestory, provide little privacy. Trinity Lake and boat ramp are 0.7 miles from campground.
There are four single campsites with water and electric hookups which will accommodate up to 6 people, two wheelchair accessible campsites with water and electric hookups, two single campsites with no hookups. The double campsites with water and electric hookups will accommodate up to 2 RVs, and 12 people, the triple site with water and electric hookup will accommodate up to 3 RVs and 18 people. There is a two stall shower. All campsites have bear -proof food lockers, tables, pedestal grills, drinking water and fireplaces. There is one group social area with serving table, group barbeque pit, group pedestal grill, and bear locker.

General Information
Directions: Oh Highway 3, 16.5 miles north of Weaverville and 14 miles south of Trinity Center. Look for the directional sign to Minersville and Bushytail Campgrounds. Located half mile from Trinity Lake.
