Ripstein Campground

Area Status: Open

Ripstein Campground is normally available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 10 tent-only sites. The majority of tent sites have food lockers to deter habituation of black bears.

General Information

Directions: From the Big Bar Ranger Station, travel Hwy 299 east 15 miles to Junction City making a left turn onto Canyon Creek Road just passed the old bar and restaurant that is there. Once on Canyon Creek road, travel about 10 miles to the campground entrance.
