Fawn Group Campground


Area Status: Open

Located 15 miles north of Weaverville on Hwy 3, on the Stuart Fork arm of Trinity lake, Fawn offers fishing, hiking and water sports.
 

Each group loop is equipped with a group site, bear- proof food lockers, several tables, group fire grill and fireplace.  There are 19 separate campsites with tables, fireplaces and drinking water.  Loop A is a small overflow loop for parking. Loop B and Loop C accommodate up to 100 people each.  Most campsite spurs will handle 30 foot RVs, some will handle 40 foot. All sites have room for a tent. The campground roads are paved, but the spurs are not.

Directions: From Weaverville, take Hwy 3 north for 14.4 miles. Take Fawn exit. Campground is located 1/4 miles from exit.
