Hirz Bay Campground

Area Status: Open

Each campsite contains a paved parking spur, a table, bear boxes and one fire ring. This campground has a pay phone, an overflow parking area, access to Hirz Bay Trail, and is located near Hirz Bay boat ramp. Hirz Bay Group campgrounds #1 and #2 are in close proximity.

General Information

Directions: Located 20 miles northeast of Redding. From I-5, take exit 698 Salt Creek/Gilman Road. Turn right at end of off ramp and follow Gilman Road east approximately 9 miles.
