XC Skiing/Snowshoeing

Isabella almost always has snow in the winter, usually more than along the North Shore.  There are several good groomed XC skiing areas, but don't forget the backcountry when it comes to skiing and snowshoeing.  After all, these were activities that were developed without trails.  Just be a safe explorer, know where you are and let others know where you went.
