Meander Lake

  

Meander Lake is a remote, clear lake with 2 backcountry campsites. The picnic area and barrier-free fishing pier are located on the southern shore of the lake.

General Information

Directions:

Meander Lake is located on the Echo Trail, 32 miles northeast of Orr.

  • From Orr, take St. Louis County 23 to Buyck (16 miles). At Buyck, County 23 turns into County 24.

  • Continue on County 24 for 4 miles to the Echo Trail (County Road 116).

  • Turn right on County Road 116 for 20 miles to the entrance road on left.

Dispersed Camping

There are 2 backcountry campsites on Meander Lake. A carry down boat launch is located at the south shore of the lake. Camping allowed at the picnic site.

Please use facilities provided such as fire rings and latrines. Pack out garbage.

Fees: None required.
