Flathorn - Gegoka Ski Trails

The Flathorn - Gegoka Ski Trails skirt Flathorn and Gegoka Lakes near Isabella.  The trails are easily accessed from a parking area off the Mitiwan Lake Road (FR 177) off of MN 1 just past Isabella.  There are many loops, some in open areas and some under old white pine.  Difficulty varies from expert to easy.  Trails are groomed for classic skiing only, there are no skate skiing trails.  No biking on trails.

General Information

General Notes:

Georeferenced PDF (GeoPDF or Avenza) maps are digital maps made to download and use with geolocation wayfinding apps such as Avenza.  Once downloaded into a phone or digital device, a wayfinding app can place a dot on the map right where you are, even without a cell or wifi connection.

Digital maps are not intended as primary sources of navigation.  Always bring a hard copy map with you.  Batteries will go dead, especially in cold weather.
