Sites 1-19 open Memorial Day weekend, reservations available at Recreation.gov, Sites 20+ are only reservable through Morningstar Campground at (530) 346-3028.

Big Reservoir Campground is adjacent to a privately operated lake and associated Morning Star Campground consisting of an additional 100 campsites. Use of the lake and associated facilities at Morning Star are subject to fees not associated with your reserved campsites at Big Reservoir Campground. Directions

From I-80: Take the Foresthill Road exit for 17 miles to the town of Foresthill. Continue driving for 9 miles until reaching Sugar Pine Road. Turn left and travel for 3 miles to Forest Road 24. Continue for 3 miles, the campground will be on the right.
