Pass Creek Campground

Pass Creek Campground is located on the northeast shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir and provides a wide range of recreational activities including boating, canoeing, water skiing, swimming, fishing, hiking and hunting. Anglers will find rainbow and brown trout. Visitors are awarded beautiful views of the Sierra Crest and English Mountain. The campground lies in a dense stand of pine and fir trees. A designated swim beach is nearby. Utility hookups, showers and telephone service are not available at this location. This facility is operated and maintained by the Nevada Irrigation District.

Restrictions: | All camping must be in designated campsites in Jackson Meadow Recreation Area. Bears frequent the area, all food must be kept in approved containers. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time all campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. |
Closest Towns: | The closest services are available in Sierraville, 11 miles north from Hwy 89 or Truckee, 17 miles south on Hwy 89. |

General Information
Directions:From Bowman Lake: Continue on Bowman Lake Road until you reach the south shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir (about 5 miles on a rough road). Continue on to North Shore on Forest Road 7.
From Truckee: Drive 17 miles north on Hwy 89. Turn left at Little Truckee Summit on Forest Road 7. Continue 16 miles west to Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Campground is on the north east shore of the reservoir.
From Sierraville: Drive 11 miles south on Hwy 89. Turn right at Little Truckee Summit on Forest Road 7. Continue 16 miles west to Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Campground is on the north east shore of the reservoir.

There are numerous Forest Service roads available to mountain bikes within the Jackson Meadow reservoir region.
Campground Camping
The campround offers 30 campsites (15 have space for trailers) each equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Activities and amenities found at this location include a boat ramp, boating, canoeing, dump station, fishing, food storage lockers, grills, hiking, camp host, hunting, mountain biking, and swimming.
