Mt. Judah Loop Trail Wildflowers

The Mt. Judah Loop Trail  is a 2.2 mile loop trail that circumnavigates Mt. Judah along the Pacific Crest near Sugar Bowl Ski Area on Donner Summit.  This loop is accessed by hiking up the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) just south of the PCT’s junction with Highway 40/Donner Pass Rd.  The Trail can be hiked either clockwise or counter clockwise in direction.  Combined with the Pacific Crest Trail, this loop hiked from Old Highway 40/Donner Pass Rd and back totals just under six miles. Views of Donner lake, Mt. Judah and Donner Peak, and during the summer months, a plethora of wildflowers!
