Gold Valley OHV Trail
Area Status: Not Cleared
Gold Valley OHV Trail is a 8.9 mile long trail one way. It begins on Plumas National Forest Rd 23N08 near the "A-Tree" Spring and ends at Tahoe National Forest Road 93-3. This trail has great views of the Sierra Buttes and follows beautful ridglines overlooking many alpine lakes. It then descends through Gold Valley where the trail can be challenging. 33" tires and one locker is recommended due to a few rock crawling sections at the end of the trail. Trail is open to all OHV users, mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding, though this trail is primarily used by OHV users and mountain bikers.
