12' x 14' Pan-Abode log cabin located on shore of Salmon Bay Lake. Good fishing for cutthroat, Dolly Varden. Good hunting for Sitka black-tail deer. Swimming, beach activities during warmer summer months on large sandy beach with good southern exposure. Trail from upper reaches of lake to Salmon Bay. Cabin sleeps 6, wood stove (wood sometimes provided), outhouse, rowboat. Bring your own personal flotation devices, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking stove, lantern, pots, pans, plates, utensils, food, toilet paper, garbage bags, fire extinguisher and fire starter. It's a good idea to bring your own water.

Lake and Pond Fishing

Good fishing in lake and creek, rowboat provided at cabin.
Special Designations Catch-and-release fishing is encouraged for steelhead and cutthroat as wild populations are fragile in many waters throughout the area.

Boating - Non-Motorized

A skiff is provided at the cabin for fly-in users; visitors can bring in their own small outboard, or row around the lake, while fishing, hunting, or viewing wildlife. It may be possible to paddle a canoe or kayak upstream from salt water to the cabin.
