Cabin Rentals
Cabin has bunks to sleep 5 persons but the upstairs can sleep additional persons (depending on size) on floor and in good weather on the front and back balcony decks. Suggested USGS topo map: Sitka A-5, A-4, B-5. What to bring: #1 stove or diesel oil, generally 10 gallons (15-20 gallons in winter) for a three-day stay, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking stove, lantern, pots, pans, plates, utensils, food, toilet paper, garbage bags. Rubber boots and raingear are recommended. Water available from small stream 200 feet (60 m) west of cabin (to the right when standing on porch). Treat all water before using. Better idea is to bring your own water. Mooring buoy available on first-come, first-served basis for boat anchorage. Cabin reservation does not include exclusive use of buoy. Refer to charts for location of a dangerous rock just below water surface towards east side of bay on approach to cabin. Firewood not provided for outdoor campfires, gather only dead and down wood. Occasionally poor weather can result in extended stays, and cabin users should be prepared for this. Pack out all gear, garbage and food that you bring to cabin. Cabin is NOT maintained during winter. Reservations may be made on the day of arrival or up to 180 days in advance. Reservations are restricted to a maximum stay of 7 consecutive nights per party for any one reservation May 1 - September 30 and a maximum stay of 10 consecutive nights per party October 1 - April 30.
