Dude Mountain Trail

The Dude Mountain Trail is 1.5 miles long. The trail begins at the end of the Brown Mountain Road and quickly gains elevation, heading through thick stands of old growth spruce and hemlock, and opening into muskegs and alpine meadows. The tread is a combination of gravel and boardwalk for the majority of the trail. After the gravel ends, the final section of trail follows a narrow ridge, leading to the summit of Dude Mountain. This section of trail is unimproved, steep and rugged. Use caution, particularly when the trail is wet.
