An easy hike up to an area where Indian petroglyphics are. Trail begins at the forest boundary.

At a Glance

Current Conditions: The Hieroglyphic Trail in the Superstition Wilderness is experiencing increased use.  Parking at the Cloudview Trailhead is limited and fills up quickly, especially from October through March.  Please obey all posted no parking and no trespassing signs.  There is no parking allowed outside of the trailhead parking lot.  If the trailhead parking is full, please try the Lost Goldmine East Trailhead.  The Cloudview Trailhead is open daily from 5 am to 10 pm.
Restrictions: Use of any mechanized or motorized travel is prohibited on this trail. No more than 15 people are allowed to be in a group. No more than 15 head of livestock are allowed in a group. Access to this point is across State Trust land and private land. Respect private property right.
