This 5.1 mile trail begins at Crane Creek Flats, Forest Service Road #73 at Crane Creek Trailhead north of Granite Oregon. This trail accesses North Fork John Day Wilderness and ends at its junction with North Fork John Day River Trail #3022

General Information

Directions:

From Granite, OR take Forest Road 73 north for about 6.5 miles to the trailhead on the west side of the road.

There is a large, fenced parking area with 1 dispersed campsite and interpretive signs. This site is directly adjacent to the Elkhorn National Scenic Byway.
