Provides access to: Granite Creek Trail #3016 which enters North Fork John Day Wilderness.

The trailhead is well signed with two large parking areas and an information board.

Directions:

From Granite, OR, head west on Forest Service Road 10 approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right (north) onto Forest Service Road 1035 and travel approximately 4 miles to the end of the road. The trailhead is well signed with two large parking areas and an information board.
