North Winom Creek Trail #3160
This trail begins at Forest Service Road 52-440 just past the Winom Creek Campground and Trailhead at its junction with Tower Loop Trail #3040 and the beginning of South Winom Creek Trail #3153.
The trail is within North Fork John Day Wilderness and travels north for 4.5 miles and ends at Cable Creek Trail #3152.
Directions: From Ukiah, OR, travel southeast on Forest Service Road 52 for approximately 23 miles to Forest Road 5200440. Turn right and travel 1 mile, passing the campground and crossing a bridge.
Several hundred yards on the west side of the bridge is the South Winom Trail #3153 on the left and the North Winom Trail # 3160 on the right.
Both trails are demarked by log posts used to restrict OHV access. There is limited parking near the trails, with additional trailhead parking in the campground.
