Restrictions: Wilderness restrictions apply. Trail closed to all motorized and mechanized equipment, including mountain bikes and carts.Weed-free feed is required for stock animals.

General Information

Directions:

From Weston, Oregon:Take Highway 204 east for about 15 miles.  Turn right (south) onto Forest Service Road 3715 (McDougall Camp Road) and continue for about 2.5 miles. This road ends at the start of Lick Creek Trail.  You will need to hike on Lick Creek Trail for ½ to ¾ of a mile before you reach the start of Grouse Mountain Trail.

From Elgin, Oregon: Take Highway 204 west for about 26 miles. Turn left (south) onto Forest Service Road 3715 (McDougall Camp Road) and continue for about 2.5 miles.  This road ends at the start of Lick Creek Trail.  You will need to hike on Lick Creek Trail for ½ to ¾ of a mile before you reach the start of Grouse Mountain Trail.
