At the end of the trail, turn left to hike about 0.25-mile uphill to the Pig Iron Lookout, a secondary lookout which is usually staffed in the summer. Visitors should ask permission before climbing up into the tower, where they’ll be greeted with spectacular views of the surrounding area, including Diamond Peak and Watson Falls.
