Thielsen View Connect Trail #1460E

This trail is heavily used by both hikers and bicycles. It is also used by cross-country skiers in the winter. This trail is closed to all motorized use and horses. The trail follows easy grades with magnificent views of Mt. Thielsen. It provides access to the Diamond Lake - John Dellenbeck Trail #1460 from Thielsen View Campground.

General Information

Directions:

From Roseburg, OR, turn  onto OR-138 east / northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and continue 78 miles east of Roseburg on Highway 138. Turn right onto Forest Road 4795 (Diamond Lake Loop) at the north entrance to Diamond Lake Recreation Area. Proceed 0.3 mile and turn right. Go 3 miles to the campground entrance on the left.

Thielsen View may also be accessed via Highway 230 from Medford, OR, or Highway 97 from Klamath Falls, OR and Bend, OR.
