This easy trail leads to Fuller Lake, a high elevation lake within the Bulldog Roadless Recreation Area. Overnight camping is available at the lakeside shelter. In the late summer, there is an abundance of blue huckleberries.

General Information

Parking:
  • Trailhead parking provides a favorable opportunity for turning around vehicles pulling trailers.

Directions:

From Roseburg, OR, turn onto OR-138 east / northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Continue on OR-138 approximately 16 miles until you reach the town of Glide, OR. Upon entering Glide the North Umpqua Ranger Station will be on your left. From the North Umpqua Ranger Station, take Highway 138 east another 23 miles to Forest Road 38 (Steamboat Creek Road). Follow Forest Road 38 for approximately 9 miles to its junction with Forest Road 3817, then take Forest Road 3817 for 3.5 miles to Forest Road 3850. Follow Forest Road 3850 for 11 miles to its junction with Forest Road 3810. Take Forest Road 3810 for 0.25 miles to Forest Road 3810-380 and follow it approximately 1 mile to the Fuller Lake trailhead.

  • Fishing at the lake, which is stocked with Eastern brook trout and rainbow trout, is subject to Oregon Fish & Wildlife regulations.
