Cripple Camp Trail #1435

This short trail provides access to Acker Divide Trail #1437, Pup Prairie Trail #1434, and Cripple Camp Shelter within the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness.
The trail passes through stands of large, old-growth Douglas fir. This trail intersects the Acker Divide Trail near Cripple Camp Shelter. The shelter was built in the 1930's and was restored in the 1990's.
Trail elevation ranges from 4,900' at the highest point to 4,800' at the lowest. From mid to late fall and early to mid spring expect that the trail will have snow cover.
