Umpqua Hot Springs Trailhead

The trailhead and surrounding area is a day use only site (Forest Order 06-15-03-22-458), open from sunrise to sunset.
Toketee Lake Campground is the closest overnight campground.

- There is limited garbage disposal on site. The Forest reminds all visitors to practice Leave No Trace principles and follow the regulations to help preserve and protect the natural beauty of the Umpqua Hot Springs and other scenic views throughout the Umpqua National Forest.

Fees: | The Umpqua Hot Springs have a day use fee of $5.00. In addition to the pay tube onsite, the Forest is offering an option to pay on-site through Recreaton.gov via a QR code on the parking lot bulletin board. To utilize Recreation.gov to pay your fee, you must download the Recreation.gov app, create an account, and fill out your payment information, before heading out for your hot spring adventure. The fee is waived when the Northwest Forest Pass or Interagency America the Beautiful Pass is displayed on your car dashboard. General Information
Directions:From Roseburg, OR, take OR-138 east / northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Continue east on Highway 138 and then turn left at milepost 59 onto Forest Road 34. At the bottom of the hill, turn left across the concrete bridge. Go 2.2 miles and turn right onto Forest Road 3401. Proceed 0.7 mile to a parking area on the left.
