North Umpqua River

  

North Umpqua RiverThe North Umpqua River is a good choice for native steelhead, rainbow, and cutthroat trout. Hiking in the area varies in difficulty with elevation ranging from 1,150 to 6,200 feet.  There are various campgrounds in the area, some with barrier free access.

From Roseburg, OR take OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd. Head east on State highway 138.parallels river from Glide (18 miles) to Toketee Lake (59 miles).
