Skimmerhorn Trailhead
Provides access to: Acker Divide Trail #1437, Grasshopper Trail #1574, Grasshopper Mountain Trail #1580, Indian Trail #1573, and Lakes Trail #1578. These trails all access Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness.
There is some parking available at the trailhead. Facilities include: One toilet, picnic tables, and a fire ring.
Trailhead sits at 3,600 feet of elevation. Expect snow to impact travel to this trailhead from mid to late Fall through mid to late Spring.

General Information
Directions:From Canyonville, OR, turn off of southeast Main Street onto southeast 3rd Street / OR-227. Continue on OR-227 for approximately 23 miles until reaching the town of Tiller, OR. Turn left onto County Road 46 (South Umpqua Road 28) and continue to Forest Road 2823. Turn right onto Forest Road 2823 and continue to Forest Road 2830. Turn left onto Forest Road 2830-600. The trailhead is located at the end of the road.
