Provides access to: Beaver Swamp Trail #1569, Rocky Rim Trail #1572, and Rocky Ridge Trail#1571 which travel within Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness.

Beaver Swamp Trailhead is developed for hiker use.

Horse use at the trailhead is discouraged. Parking for stock vehicles and trailers is available on Forest Road 2840-500, one-eighth mile from the Trailhead.

General Information

Directions:

From Canyonville, OR, turn off of southeast Main Street onto southeast 3rd Street / OR-227. Continue on OR-227 for approximately 23 miles until reaching the town of Tiller, OR. Turn left onto County Road 46 (South Umpqua Road) and continue for approximately 24 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 2823. Follow Forest Road 2823 and turn right onto Forest Road 2830. Then take Forest Road 2830 and turn left onto Forest Road 2840. Follow Forest Road 2840 and turn right onto Forest Road 2840-400, the Beaver Swamp Trailhead is located on the right side of the road.
