Riverview Trail #1530

Riverview Trail #1530 mainly follows the old North Umpqua Highway, traveling through forest and under steep cliffs while offering glimpses of the North Umpqua River from above.  It can be turned into a longer, loop trail when combined with the North Umpqua Trail #1414.02 - Mott Segment. Note that you must walk about 0.5 mile on OR-138 Highway while traveling the loop.

Directions:

Eastern Trailhead: From Roseburg, OR, turn onto OR-138 east / northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Continue on OR-138 about 39 miles to the Steamboat Creek Road 38. Pull into the trailhead parking area at the junction of OR-138 and Forest Road 38.

Western Trailhead: From Roseburg, OR, turn onto OR-138 east / northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Continue on OR-138 about 28 miles to County Road 4H. Follow the 4H Road, which turns into Forest Road 4710, to Forest Road 4710-480 which dead-ends at the trailhead.
