Lakes Trailhead
This trailhead provides access to Lakes Trail #1578, which leads to both Cliff and Buckeye Lakes within the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness. The trails passes through a mixed stand of trees including a madrone forest and young stands of fir, the result of a wildfire sweeping through in 2002. Expect to encounter numerous downed trees and faint sections of trail.
Provides access to: Lakes Trail #1578 which enters Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness.
Some parking available. More parking available at nearby Fish Lake Trailhead.

General Information
Directions:From Canyonville, OR, take west 1st Street and turn right onto southeast Main Street. After two blocks, turn left onto southeast 3rd Street / OR-227. Continue on OR-227 for approximately 23 miles until reaching the town of Tiller, OR. Take a slight left onto County Road 46 (which becomes South Umpqua Road 28). Follow South Umpqua Road to Forest Road 2823. Follow Forest Road 2823 to Forest Road 2830. Follow Forest Road 2830 to Forest Road 2840. Follow Forest Road 2840 to where the trail begins at the Fish Lake Creek bridge near the Fish Lake Trailhead, approximately 28 miles from Tiller. The trail will be on your right before the bridge, approximately 0.2 mile before Fish Lake Trailhead.
