Hikers on natural bridge

This 9.5-mile loop trail may be the most scenic area on the entire Wayne National Forest. This rugged loop trail includes the Irish Run Natural Bridge, a rockshelter, and some outstanding scenery.

The trail is closed to mountain bike use from December 16 to April 14 each year.

At a Glance

Operational Hours: Open 24 hours a day year round to hiking. Open to mountain bikes 12:01 am April 15th through 11:59 pm December 15th. Day and night riding (with lights) is permitted.
Fees Free to hikers and backpackers, but mountain bikers must purchase a Wayne National Forest trail permit and are allowed only from April 15-December 15.
