Covered Bridge

The Covered Bridge Trail is a 5-mile trail located at Hune Bridge Campground and offers access from either campgrounds to the North Country Trail. The trail is open to mountain bike use from April 15 through December 15 each year but is open to hikers year-round.

Mountain Biking

Day Hiking

This linear trail between the two covered bridges is very scenic. It makes a nice back and forth trail, or leave a vehicle at one end and hike to the other end.

Backpacking

This 5 mile trail ties in with the longer North Country Trail for a nice backpacking trip.

Viewing Plants

This upland area has a myriad of interesting plants and wildflowers.

Viewing Scenery

This is an interesting trail with nice views of the Little Muskingum River, the covered bridges, rock bluffs, and is one of the more scenic hikes on the Forest.

Fees: free for hikers/backpackers.
