Wild River / Basin Trailhead
The Wild River and Basin Trails can be used to access the vast and scenic Wild River Wilderness and surrounding mountain ranges. There is a vault toilet at the trailhead. Both the Wild River Road and Route 113 are gated closed in the winter.

Directions: This large trailhead is located at the end of the Wild River Road, just before the Wild River Campground. The Wild River Road leaves Route 113 about 3 miles South of its junction with Route 2 in Gilead, Maine.Activities
