Chippewa Trailhead
The very scenic Chippewa trail ascends the rocky summit of Black Mountain in 1.8 miles. The trailhead, which accommodates three or four cars, and beginning section of trail are on private land. The historic Lime Kilns diverge left from the trail on an old road and are well worth a visit.
