Flat Tops NW


Flat Tops NW covers the southeastern part of the Blanco Ranger District (including most of the Flat Tops Wilderness) from Ripple Creek Pass to Rio Blanco County Road 10.

Operational Hours: The Flat Tops NW area is managed by the Blanco Ranger District, which is located at 220 East Market Street in Meeker. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays. We are co-located with the BLM's White River Field Office. To contact our office, call (970)878-4039.
Closest Towns: Meeker is the nearest place to purchase gasoline and supplies.

The White River Snowmobile Club maintains a number of trails on the Blanco Ranger District.

The club produces free maps of the trails it maintains.  Contact the Meeker Chamber of Commerce (970)878-5510 for a copy.

Snowmobiling is prohibited within all areas of the Flat Tops Wilderness.
