Constitution Grove Trail #3675

This short, flat loop trail is a living time capsule. You meander through a classic stand of old growth Douglas-fir on located on a river bench, high above todays river level. These grand sentinels, who have survived fire, flood, wind and humans were small trees over 200 years ago when our country was founded. Throughout the trail, small plaques bear the names of the signers of our countrys constitution.

It is a cool, quiet place to contemplate life. The North Fork Segment 5 Trail #3666, shares part of this trail along the cliffs above the river.
