Happy Lake Trail #3653

The trail descends gently into a basin, which contains Happy Lake and an extensive boggy meadow adjacent to the lake.

Happy Lake offers an excellent opportunity for a true wilderness experience as it is used very little. There are several campsites near the north end of the lake.

The vegetation is primarily mountain hemlock, western white pine with several species of huckleberry dotting the forest floor.

There are no views of Diamond Peak from the basin.
