General Information

General Notes:

Map of Marie Lake trail

Please do not disturb the vegetation in the wet meadows or the lake shore at Marie Lake. Long before this area became a designated wilderness, people used to drive cars to Marie Lake. If you look carefully, you will notice that the trail tread west from the Pacific Crest Trail to Marie Lake is actually located on one of the old tire tracks remaining from the early days. Note that early season use means ferocious mosquitoes.

Directions:

Access is from Marie Lake Trailhead.
