Gold Point Trail #3468

The trail climbs up and out of Logan Creek through a number of switchbacks for 1.8 miles to the ridge. Then it follows the ridge past many rocky outcroppings, across open meadows with fine views. One-half mile before reaching Forest Road 365, a trail to the left takes you up to the top of Gold Point.

A fire lookout was once on the point, but the view is now obscured by trees. Just before the top, is a large open meadow with a very good view to the east.
