Mt. Ray Trail #3682

  

This trail follows the Ray Creek drainage on moderate grades and passes through Pothole Meadows. After the meadows the trail begins to climb to the South Waldo Trail #3586. From here, it climbs steeply through rolling country and then steeply descends into Black Meadows where it junctions with the High Divide Trail #3572.

The Mt Ray Trail is closed to mountain bikes at the junction of South Waldo Trail No. 3586 as it enters the Waldo Lake Wilderness. Be prepared for hordes of mosquitoes during early season visits.
