Timpanogas Lake Trail #3638

This easy, level trail starts at Timpanogas Lake Campground and skirts the lakeside. The trail is used primarily for fishing access but also for those wanting to reach the Start O'Willamette Trail. Several sections of the trail pass through low, boggy areas. High-topped waterproof boots are recommended, especially early in the season as the snow melts. Another consideration is the hoards of hungry mosquitoes in this area during the first couple months of summer. With autumn comes the end of mosquitoes, and opportunity to enjoy huckleberries found along the trail.
