Winchester Ridge Trail #3596

Leaving the Winchester Trail #3594, the trail climbs a short distance before leveling off and following a rolling grade along the ridge top through the alpine forest of mountain hemlock and Pacific silver fir. Near the mid-point, the trail passes the junction with the Waldo Meadows Trail #3591

After passing the Waldo Mountain Trail #3592, the last 0.5 mile of the trail begins a constant descent, ending at the Wahanna Trail #3583. This is a primitive trail with several good views to the east.

Be prepared for mosquitoes in the early summer.
