French Pete Creek Trail #3311

Beginning at French Pete Trailhead, French Pete Trail #3311 heads east uphill along French Pete creek. Shortly beyond the trailhead, the trail enters the Three Sisters Wilderness and a continuous forest of old growth Douglas-Fir, Cedar, Maple, and Hemlock trees. About 1 mile up the creek from French Pete Trailhead, the trail crosses from the north side of the creek to the south, then crosses back to the north side about 1/2 mile upstream. There are no constructed bridges at these crossings. The trail continues up the northern edge of French Pete creek until Pat Creek, where it tracks northeast along Pat Creek continuing through old growth forest to its terminus at Pat Saddle Trailhead.
